Welcome to Churchfields School

Thank you for your interest in Churchfields School. We are part of the Quality First Academy Trust.  Children are happy and achieve well here. You can find out more about our Leavers' destinations after primary school here. 

We have a bright modern building with extensive outdoor space. We have two classes per year group and two classes in our ARC (Additionally Resourced Classes) for children with an ECHP from Reception to Year 6.

School Tours

When to apply

Children start Reception in the academic year (September to August) that they have their 5th birthday. Applications for places for September 2024 entry (for children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020) have been allocated by Bromley Council on National Offer Day - Tuesday 16 April 2024.  

If you missed the deadline for September 2024 and are interested in a place, you can still put in an application through Bromley Council to be added to the Waiting List.

Applications for Reception places for September 2025 usually open through Bromley Council in early September and will close on Wednesday 15 January 2025. Parents/carers will be notified of their primary school place on Wednesday 16 April 2025.

The admission number for Churchfields Primary School for Reception in September 2024 is 60. This is inclusive of students with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements. The admission authority for Churchfields Primary School is the Quality First Education Trust. However, all applications will be received and offers made individually by the Local Authority in common with other Bromley Primary Schools through the timetable and procedures laid down in the Local Authority’s Co-ordinated Admissions’ Scheme.
